Climate Internships
The Future is Now
Hello & Welcome!
The goal of Climate Internships is to make it easy to locate environmental, sustainability, climate, and green internships.
This a service of Green Jobs Network, which since 2008 has connected job seekers to jobs, career resources, and community.
GJN's services include job boards for climate action and green jobs, a site dedicated to remote climate and green jobs, the Green Jobs List newsletter, a 125,000 member group on LinkedIn for green and climate jobs, and an AI-powered climate career coach.
CEO Leonard Adler has spoken on green jobs at venues including the Commonwealth Club of California, Stanford University, and the National Career Development Association annual meeting.

WWF's BRIDGE Program
BRIDGE (Building Relationships, Inclusivity, Diversity, Growth, and Excellence) is WWF’s diversity-focused summer internship program, facilitated by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team. Launched in 2021, it is a paid internship opportunity aimed at a diverse pool of talented undergraduate and graduate students who could bring fresh thinking and innovation to the environmental sector. In particular, WWF aims to employ interns who have not previously had a breadth of professional experience.

The EDICT Internship Program
Empowering Diverse Climate Talent (EDICT) creates a diverse pipeline of talent for the climate sector, working with both employers to create inclusive cultures where new talent can succeed, and with youth to develop new skills and unlock powerful networks for rising leaders from traditionally excluded groups. It is a partnership between Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI), Elemental Excelerator, and FutureMap. We place a diverse pipeline of talent in 10-week paid internships at partner employers dedicated to solving climate change. It is designed to match employers from all corners of climate innovation — for-profits, nonprofits, funders, and government organizations — with aspiring climate professionals, college students, and recent graduates from traditionally excluded backgrounds.
Application deadline was February 5 for summer 2024 placements.
MassCEC Clean Energy Internship Program
The Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program helps prepare the next generation of clean energy workers by funding internships for college students and recent graduates at Massachusetts clean energy and water innovation companies. As an intern, you'll gain valuable experience and have opportunities to network within the clean energy sector.
You can get matched with an employer for a MassCEC-sponsored internship by creating an intern profile on our online Workforce Portal. You'll then have access to view internship postings and potential employers will have the opportunity to review your qualifications and invite you to an interview. Our internship program runs all year, with Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions. Different types of internship opportunities are available for all educational backgrounds.
